This shirt was worn by the Ireland captain, Kenny Cunningham, in the match against Croatia played on 4th September 1999. Cunningham donated the shirt to the Birmingham St Mary's Hospice who subsequently auctioned it. I was fortunate enough to win the auction. As can be seen from the photos, the shirt has been fully signed by the Irish team. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards
