This is a shirt that was issued to be used sometime during the 1993 - 1994 season. The shirt came to me with no previous information regarding its past so I cannot state which match it is from or which player is was issued to / worn by. The senior Irish side only wore this style of kit once: in the match against Northern Ireland on November 17th 1993 which Ireland drew 1-1. This was the match which sealed qualification to the 1994 World Cup Finals in the USA. The shirt itself is a white, away, long-sleeved shirt and bears the number 19 to the reverse. It has not been signed and is in good overall condition. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards.
