This is a shirt that was allocated to Andy O'Brien for the friendly away to Holland on June 5th 2004. Ireland won the match 1-0 through a goal by Robbie Keane. It is a white, away, long-sleeved shirt and has been signed on the front by O'Brien. The shirt was not worn as O'Brien can be seen quite clearly wearing short-sleeves in the photo of the Irish team below. I obtained the jersey through a very reliable Newcastle Utd contact who was given the shirt by O'Brien while he was a player there. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards
