This shirt was worn by Liam Brady during an international match around 1976; I do not know the exact match it is from with complete certainty but I believe it is probably from the match against France in 1976 in Paris (pictured below) because this style of kit was worn on such few occasions. It is a green, home, long-sleeved jersey and bears the number 6 on the back. The shirt was sold at Graham Budd's auction in May 2008, along with several other shirts which had all formerly been on display in the Arsenal FC museum. It had originally been donated to the Arsenal museum by Brady so there can be no question regarding its authenticity. The shirt has a number of mud stains and has clearly been worn.
