This is the shirt that was worn by Mark Kinsella in the Niall Quinn Testimonial match immediately prior to the 2002 World Cup Finals. The shirt is unwashed and has mud from the pitch still on it in various places. I obtained the shirt directly from one of the kitmen who worked at Charlton Athletic when Kinsella was a player there. The shirt has been signed on the front and on the back by Kinsella who has added 'Best wishes' by his signiture. The shirt is exceptionally rare for one obvious reason - it has an Eircom logo across the front; Ireland rarely play in matches with a sponsor logo on their shirts - it is not permitted by FIFA in any full international. Therefore, they can only use shirts of this type in testimonial / benefit matches.
