This shirt was worn by David Connolly in the friendly against Denmark 27th March 2002. The match finished in a 3-0 win for Ireland. Connelly came on as a substitute for Robbie Keane. After the match he presented the shirt as a gift to the then Wimbledon manager Stuart Murdoch - Connolly was at the time a player with Wimbledon. The shirt is a green, home, short-sleeved shirt and has been signed very clearly on the front by Connolly. It is still dirty and is clearly match worn. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards.
