This shirt was issued to Colin Healy for the friendly against the USA on April 12th 2002. It is a white, away, short-sleeved shirt and has been fully signed on the front by the Irish team. Healy wore long-sleeves in the game so this shirt is definitely just a spare and not match worn. The shirt was donated by the Football Association of Ireland to UNICEF for a charity auction that they held prior to the 2002 World Cup Finals. There is a certificate of authenticity from UNICEF to go with the jersey. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards.
