This shirt was issued for use for the match away to France in Paris on October 28th 1980 where Ireland lost 2-0 with goals from Platini and Zimako. The shirt is a white, away, long-sleeved shirt and has not been worn. I do not know which player the shirt was allocated to but I obtained it from a collector in France who obtained it from a former French international who was a substitute for that particular match so I am satisfied that the shirt originated from that fixture. The shirt has not been signed and bears the correct differences one would expect to find with replica shirts
