This shirt was issued to Alan Lee for the Euro 2008 Qualifying match against the Czech Republic on October 11th 2006. The match finished in 1-1 draw. Lee was a non-playing substitute and this was his shirt that he wore on the bench. The shirt was given to a member of Ireland's backroom staff after the match and was subsequently donated to a charity in the UK for auction. I was fortunate enough to win the shirt! It is a green, home, short-sleeved jersey and has not been signed. The shirt differs from replica shirts because there is no sponsor's logo on the front: all Ireland replica shirts from 1992 onwards had a sponsor logo written on the front; shirts without a sponsor logo could not be bought in shops from this period onwards.
